My kind, compassionate, beautiful cousin is married! Joy said ‘I do’ to the love of her life, Nick, at Springfield Manor in Thurmont, Maryland. These two are perfectly matched in every way and have supported each other through multiple triumphs, losses, and growth. A few highlights for me were… of course seeing Joy in a wedding dress; the pair’s dog, Duke, participating in the festivities; the groomsman flower guy with the fanny pack full of petals; and witnessing the way Nick cares for Joy.
